On March 31, 2014, Bombardier announced that Hawaii Island Air, Inc., more well known as Island Air, placed a firm order for two Q400 NextGens and also placed options for four additional Q400 NextGens. The aircraft will be delivered in a dual class 71 seat configuration.
Including Island Air’s order, Bombardier has firm orders for a total of 495 Q400 and Q400 NextGens. Worldwide, Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft have logged over 4.7 million flight hours and more than 5 million take-offs and landings.
