Bombardier Aerospace released a review of the Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft program for 2012 on January 25th, 2013. Republic to operate 47 Embraer 175s for American Airlines

Embraer announced on January 24th, 2013 that Republic Airways has agreed to purchase 47 Embraer 175 aircraft. The agreement also includes options for an additional 47 aircraft. If all options are fulfilled, the airline would purchase a total of 94 Embraer 175s. The aircraft will be operated by Republic Airlines, a Republic subsidiary, under American Eagle colours. …

Qantas orders three DHC-8Q-400s

Bombardier announced on January 17th, 2013 that Qantas placed a firm order for three Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft. Qantas, Australia’s largest domestic and international carrier, will use the aircraft on its domestic routes.
