Nairobi, Kenya-based, Jambojet became a Q400 operator on March 30, 2015 after the airline chartered a Q400 turboprop from DAC Aviation.
Jambojet will be operating the aircraft to three destinations in Kenya’s coastal region — Lamu, Malindi and Ukunda — from its base at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Jambojet, a subsidiary of Kenya Airlines, is the second new operator to have chosen to operate the Q400 aircraft in Africa in 2015, and has become the 19th operator of the type in Africa.
