On February 2, 2015, Bombardier announced that Chorus Aviation Inc., parent company of Jazz Aviation LP have signed a firm purchase agreement where Chorus will acquire 13 Q400 NextGen aircraft and hold options for 10 Q400 NextGen aircraft. Once delivered, the aircraft will be operated by Jazz under the Air Canada Express banner.
Including Chorus’ order, Bombardier has firm orders for 534 Q400 NextGen aircraft.
On January 22, 2015, Bombardier announced that Horizon Air converted two of seven previously acquired Q400 NextGen aircraft options to firm orders. The airline holds options on another five Q400 NextGen aircraft.
On January 21, 2015, Bombardier announced that leasing company Elix Aviation Capital Limited took assignment of three Q400 NextGen aircraft previously booked by an existing Bombardier customer.
On December 31, 2014, Bombardier announced that lessor GE Capital Aviation Services signed a firm purchase agreement for five Q400 NextGen aircraft and took options on an additional 10 Q400 NextGen aircraft.
