Chorus signs agreement for up to 23 Q400 NextGens

Air Canada Express Q400On February 2, 2015, Bombardier announced that Chorus Aviation Inc., parent company of Jazz Aviation LP have signed a firm purchase agreement where Chorus will acquire 13 Q400 NextGen aircraft and hold options for 10 Q400 NextGen aircraft. Once delivered, the aircraft will be operated by Jazz under the Air Canada Express banner.

Including Chorus’ order, Bombardier has firm orders for 534 Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Alaska Air Group purchases two Q400 NextGens

Alaska Airlines Q400On January 22, 2015, Bombardier announced that Horizon Air converted two of seven previously acquired Q400 NextGen aircraft options to firm orders. The airline holds options on another five Q400 NextGen aircraft.

This order will increase Horizon Air’s fleet to 54 Q400 aircraft. The airline is the largest operator of Q400s worldwide.

Including Horizon Air’s order, Bombardier has recorded firm orders for a total of 521 Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Elix Aviation acquires three Q400 NextGens

Elix Aviation Q400On January 21, 2015, Bombardier announced that leasing company Elix Aviation Capital Limited took assignment of three Q400 NextGen aircraft previously booked by an existing Bombardier customer.

Bombardier has booked firm orders for a total of 521 Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.

GECAS orders up to 15 Q400 NextGens

GECAS Q400On December 31, 2014, Bombardier announced that lessor GE Capital Aviation Services signed a firm purchase agreement for five Q400 NextGen aircraft and took options on an additional 10 Q400 NextGen aircraft.

Including GECAS’s order, Bombardier has booked firm orders for a total of 519 Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.
