Mesa Airlines signs agreement for seven CRJ900 NextGens

On March 12, 2015, Bombardier announced that Mesa Air Group signed a purchase agreement for seven CRJ900 NextGen aircraft. Mesa is one of the largest CRJ900 aircraft operators, currently operates 57 CRJ900 aircraft with 79 seats in a dual-class interior and 20 CRJ700 with 66 to 70 seats in a three-class interior.

American Airlines orders 24 CRJ900 NextGens

On February 9, 2015, Bombardier that American Airlines signed a firm order for 24 CRJ900 NextGen regional jets. This order was announced on December 30, 2014 and followed American exercising 24 of 40 previous CRJ900 NextGen aircraft options. On February 11, 2014, Bombardier announced that it had signed a letter of intent with a customer that wished to remain unnamed to purchase up to 12 CRJ900 NextGens.
