Kenya Airways receives second Embraer 190

Kenya Airways Embraer 190

Kenya Airways is taking delivery of its second Embraer 190 this week. The first Embraer 190 arrived in January this year and is used on medium to long range African flights .A further Embraer 190 will be delivered this year. The airline also operates five Embraer 170 aircraft.

Skywest begins service for Alaska Airlines with CRJ-700s

Seattle-based Horizon Air at one time flew CRJ-700s for the Alaska Air Group until they revamped their fleet with Bombardier Q400s and dropped the CRJ service. Bombardier reports better than expected fuel economy on CRJ1000s

Bombardier Aerospace announced in a press release today that the CRJ1000 NextGen regional jet is achieving better than expected fuel burn. According to Bombardier, the CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft is achieving a mission fuel consumption rate that is 4 per cent better than estimated. Montenegro Airlines orders fourth Embraer jet

Montenegro Airlines has ordered a fourth Embraer jet, which is due for delivery in 2012. The airline currently operates 3 Embraer 195 jets.
