Bombardier claim against Estonian Air rejected

First Westjet DHC-8Q-400s in flight testing

The first of WestJet’s Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft are being flight tested at Toronto Downsview Airport. The aircraft will be flying for WestJet Encore, Westjet’s regional division. Initial destinations will be Fort St. John and Nanaimo, B.C. with Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Calgary and Brandon, Manitoba to be added over time.

Garuda Indonesia to start CRJ1000 operations

Garuda Indonesia is planning to operate three Bombardier CRJ 1000 NextGen aircraft from a new western hub in Kuala Namu. The airline plans to develop Kuala Namu as the fourth Garuda hub after Denpasar, Jakarta and Makassar. The three aircraft are part of a 24 aircraft order the airline has with Bombardier.

Rumours and indications are rampant that easyJet may announce an order for CSeries aircraft from Bombardier at the Paris air show in June 2013.
