The first flight of the CS300 occurred on Friday, February 27th, 2015 when the first CS300 prototype took off from Mirabel airport in Montreal.
The CS300 took off a little after 11 a.m. local time.
The C Series program has been plagued by delays and was expected to be originally in service in 2013. Bombardier has announced that current plans set the in service date for the CS100 series to be later in 2015.
